Which materials do landscapers order most?

Screened topsoil for beds and lawns, DG for paths and patios, 1/4" minus and concrete sand for paver base and bedding, decorative rock for dry beds, and mulch to finish. Most jobs take two or three of them, and we can split a load.

A pile of gray gravel sits in a backyard under construction beside a curved concrete curb and a dump truck.

How much DG for a path?

A 3 inch compacted lift covers about 80 square feet per ton. A 4 foot wide, 50 foot path is roughly 2.5 tons. Call with the square footage and we'll size it.

Can you place material past the gate?

We place where the truck can reach, including tight driveways. Past a gate or down steps, super sacks set where you point are the usual answer.

What landscapers order

Class 2 base under pavers, washed concrete sand to level, 1/4" birdseye swept into the joints, decorative rock, mulch and bark, and a lot of DG. Stabilized DG for anything with foot traffic.

When we're not the right fit

  • We're delivery only. There is no yard to visit, so you can't pick up material or look at it before it arrives.
  • We provide delivery slips with every load, not certified weight tickets.
  • There is no minimum. Small orders pay the regular delivery fee, and super sacks and bags cover the small ones.

If any of those is a deal-breaker for your job, tell us when you call and we'll say so straight.

Questions we get every day

Do you deliver the same day?

Often, yes. Our supply yards close around 4:30 or 5 PM, so call a couple of hours before that. If a truck is free it goes out today. If it can't make it, it's there first thing in the morning.

What's the smallest amount you'll deliver?

No minimum. We have delivered ten bags and we have delivered 6,800 tons. Small orders pay the regular delivery fee.

Can you deliver into a tight driveway or backyard?

Yes. Our drivers place material where you need it, including tight access.

Do you provide weight tickets?

Every load comes with a delivery slip showing our information and the tonnage.

What areas do you serve?

Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties, day in and day out. Special material has gone as far as Sacramento, Redding and Las Vegas.

Do you do short-load concrete?

Yes, 1 to 5 yards, and well past that: full 10-yard trucks and larger pours. We supply the concrete, your crew places it. Mixes are 2,500, 3,500 and 5,000 PSI in a 3/8" or 1" rock. We also deliver slurry.

Do you haul away material?

Yes. Dirt, broken concrete, asphalt, and demolition debris that recycles. No metal, no wood. The concrete and asphalt go to a recycler and come back as base rock.
