What is washed concrete sand used for?
Mixing concrete and grout, bedding pavers and flagstone, leveling under slabs, and as a coarse utility sand where drainage matters. It's washed to remove silt and clay, so it stays workable and drains well.

How much is a load delivered?
Pricing depends on tonnage and where the truck is going. Call (213) 999-8161 with your city and the amount you need and we'll quote one straight delivered price, no add-ons.
Can I get a small amount of sand?
Yes. There is no minimum, and super sacks and bags are available for repairs and small paver jobs.

Can you deliver into a tight driveway?
Yes. Our drivers place material where you need it, including tight driveways and backyards. Tell us about gates, overhead lines, and slope when you call.
Utility sand, gas sand, PG&E sand
Those are all names for this material. Whatever the plans call it, washed concrete sand is what comes off the truck.
Masons and concrete crews use it in the mix and under slabs. Paver and turf crews use it as the leveling layer over the base. It is washed, so it is clean and loose and it screeds flat. Fill sand costs less and fights you when you try to level it.
When we're not the right fit
- We're delivery only. There is no yard to visit, so you can't pick up material or look at it before it arrives.
- We provide delivery slips with every load, not certified weight tickets.
- There is no minimum. Small orders pay the regular delivery fee, and super sacks and bags cover the small ones.
If any of those is a deal-breaker for your job, tell us when you call and we'll say so straight.
