What is fill sand used for?
Trench backfill around pipe and conduit, pool backfill, leveling under pads and above-ground pools, and general utility fill where a clean, compactable sand is wanted.

How much is a load delivered?
Pricing depends on tonnage and where the truck is going. Call (213) 999-8161 with your city and the amount you need and we'll quote one straight delivered price, no add-ons.
Can you deliver a small load for a plumbing job?
Yes. There is no minimum, and super sacks are handy for sewer line repairs and short trenches.

Can you deliver into a tight driveway?
Yes. Our drivers place material where you need it, including tight driveways and backyards. Tell us about gates, overhead lines, and slope when you call.
Pipe bedding, and the spec plumbers ask for
Fill sand meets SE 30 for PVC pipe bedding. The pipe sits on a bed of sand and gets covered in sand, so nothing sharp out of the trench spoil ever touches it. Sewer and PVC both.
It also backfills trenches and over-excavations. Cheaper than washed concrete sand, dustier, harder to level, and for backfill none of that matters. Homeowners sometimes call it filling sand.
When we're not the right fit
- We're delivery only. There is no yard to visit, so you can't pick up material or look at it before it arrives.
- We provide delivery slips with every load, not certified weight tickets.
- There is no minimum. Small orders pay the regular delivery fee, and super sacks and bags cover the small ones.
If any of those is a deal-breaker for your job, tell us when you call and we'll say so straight.
