A dump truck with its bed raised pours dark gray crushed rock onto a concrete driveway in front of a house.

Base rock, sand and gravel delivered in Colton

For contractors and homeowners, from ten bags to full loads.

Colton sits on the rail and freeway crossroads of the Inland Empire, with older neighborhoods close to the center, industrial yards along the 10 and 215, and Reche Canyon's rural properties climbing into the hills on the south side. We deliver to all three, and the order looks different in each: concrete sand and base for repairs and additions in town, bulk base and haul-away for the industrial work, and crushed rock for long canyon driveways.

A dump truck with its bed raised has dropped a pile of gray crushed rock on bare dirt beside a concrete slab.

What gets ordered here

  • Washed concrete sand and Class 2 base for foundation repairs, additions, and ADUs on the older lots.
  • 1/2" and 3/4" crushed rock under new slabs. The 1/2" is popular for ADU foundations right now, and few suppliers carry it.
  • Haul-away of broken concrete and asphalt from demolition on the industrial side.
  • 3/4" and 1-1/2" crushed rock for driveways and parking areas in Reche Canyon.

Getting a truck in

The older streets near the center can be narrow with cars on both sides; tell us the cross street and we'll plan the approach. Canyon roads are fine for our trucks but long, so give us a day's notice when you can.

When we're not the right fit

  • We're delivery only. There is no yard to visit, so you can't pick up material or look at it before it arrives.
  • We provide delivery slips with every load, not certified weight tickets.
  • There is no minimum. Small orders pay the regular delivery fee, and super sacks and bags cover the small ones.

If any of those is a deal-breaker for your job, tell us when you call and we'll say so straight.

Questions we get every day

Do you deliver to Reche Canyon?

Yes. Long driveways and hillside lots are normal there; we place the load where you want it as long as the driver judges it safe.

Can you haul out old concrete and bring in base the same day?

Usually. Haul trucks sit on site while your crew loads, and the base follows on your schedule.

Which crushed rock goes under an ADU slab?

Most crews here use 1/2" or 3/4". Tell us what the plans call for.

Do you deliver the same day?

Often, yes. Our supply yards close around 4:30 or 5 PM, so call a couple of hours before that. If a truck is free it goes out today. If it can't make it, it's there first thing in the morning.

What's the smallest amount you'll deliver?

No minimum. We have delivered ten bags and we have delivered 6,800 tons. Small orders pay the regular delivery fee.

Can you deliver into a tight driveway or backyard?

Yes. Our drivers place material where you need it, including tight access.

Do you provide weight tickets?

Every load comes with a delivery slip showing our information and the tonnage.

What areas do you serve?

Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties, day in and day out. Special material has gone as far as Sacramento, Redding and Las Vegas.

Do you do short-load concrete?

Yes, 1 to 5 yards, and well past that: full 10-yard trucks and larger pours. We supply the concrete, your crew places it. Mixes are 2,500, 3,500 and 5,000 PSI in a 3/8" or 1" rock. We also deliver slurry.

Do you haul away material?

Yes. Dirt, broken concrete, asphalt, and demolition debris that recycles. No metal, no wood. The concrete and asphalt go to a recycler and come back as base rock.
