A dump truck with its bed raised pours dark gray crushed rock onto a concrete driveway in front of a house.

Gravel, DG and base delivered in Yucaipa

For contractors and homeowners, from ten bags to full loads.

Yucaipa climbs from the valley floor into the foothills, so a lot of its properties are on slopes, on large lots, and on driveways that were never paved. Add the horse properties and the hillside landscaping and you have a town that orders crushed rock, DG, and base the way other towns order groceries. We've been getting more calls from Yucaipa lately, and every one of them starts with the access, because up here the access is the job.

A dump truck with its bed raised has dropped a pile of gray crushed rock on bare dirt beside a concrete slab.

What gets ordered here

  • 3/4" crushed rock and 1-1/2" crushed for sloped driveways and parking pads.
  • Class 2 road base under driveways and RV pads.
  • Decomposed granite for arenas, paths, and front yards.
  • Fill dirt and fill sand for leveling and for backfill behind retaining walls.
  • Decorative rock for hillside yards where lawn doesn't make sense.

Getting a truck in

Grade matters. A loaded truck can climb most Yucaipa driveways, but the driver makes the call on the day, and a load can be split or sent as super sacks when a slope is too steep to dump safely. Tell us the grade and the turnaround when you order.

When we're not the right fit

  • We're delivery only. There is no yard to visit, so you can't pick up material or look at it before it arrives.
  • We provide delivery slips with every load, not certified weight tickets.
  • There is no minimum. Small orders pay the regular delivery fee, and super sacks and bags cover the small ones.

If any of those is a deal-breaker for your job, tell us when you call and we'll say so straight.

Questions we get every day

Can a loaded truck make it up a steep Yucaipa driveway?

Usually. The driver decides on site, and if it's too steep we have other ways to get the material to you.

What's the right rock for a sloped driveway?

3/4" crushed packs and holds on a grade. Go to 1-1/2" where trucks and trailers park.

Do you deliver up here the same day?

When a truck is free, yes. Call a couple of hours before the yards close.

Do you deliver the same day?

Often, yes. Our supply yards close around 4:30 or 5 PM, so call a couple of hours before that. If a truck is free it goes out today. If it can't make it, it's there first thing in the morning.

What's the smallest amount you'll deliver?

No minimum. We have delivered ten bags and we have delivered 6,800 tons. Small orders pay the regular delivery fee.

Can you deliver into a tight driveway or backyard?

Yes. Our drivers place material where you need it, including tight access.

Do you provide weight tickets?

Every load comes with a delivery slip showing our information and the tonnage.

What areas do you serve?

Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties, day in and day out. Special material has gone as far as Sacramento, Redding and Las Vegas.

Do you do short-load concrete?

Yes, 1 to 5 yards, and well past that: full 10-yard trucks and larger pours. We supply the concrete, your crew places it. Mixes are 2,500, 3,500 and 5,000 PSI in a 3/8" or 1" rock. We also deliver slurry.

Do you haul away material?

Yes. Dirt, broken concrete, asphalt, and demolition debris that recycles. No metal, no wood. The concrete and asphalt go to a recycler and come back as base rock.

Does a real person answer?
